It was after I was saved. I was running from God and kept ending up in the same old patterns and cycles with abusive relationships. I guess you could say I came to the end of myself.

I was at the point of taking my own life but in that dark night of my soul I heard the Lord speak to me, which saved my life. It was then that I decided to turn my life over to the Lord. He had saved my life so many times that I knew I could trust Him.

My journey began to find a church home...

I ended up in a little church, which at the time I didn’t know taught about deliverance, which I knew nothing about

I became a member of this little body of believers and began to take an interest in deliverance issues. I started reading and learning about why we as believers are not free and living the life God speaks about in His Word.

The more knowledge I gained I began to realize I needed deliverance and healing in my life! I began to see things in myself and I couldn’t understand why I was, the way I was. I would get accused of doing things I never did, even in the church. I began to think that there was something seriously wrong with me. It was like I had something printed on my head that said abuse me!

I Cried Out To God to Show Me...

I will never forget the dream He gave me, it showed me that this was a spiritual thing, not a natural thing. God showed me this demonic spirit that was old with a long white beard and small in height.

I knew this spirit had been with me a longtime and God said to me, this is a spirit of abuse! When I awoke from this dream, I knew then that this spirit was the cause of so much pain in my life!

There’s one thing that you must understand about this spirit. It is that I was not the abuser. But because of the abuse I suffered from all my abusive relationships, this spirit attached to my soul (mind, will and emotions). Through the abuse and trauma the door was open for the devil to come in.

It is a spiritual thing that works in the supernatural realm that you can’t see. The relationships I had been through in my life were not good and my soul was connected to each and everyone of them. I've had the privilege of serving 2 foreign missions where I traveled to Kenya, Africa and Lagos, Nigeria in 1991 to minister with Bishop Jonah Bedan.

God called me into this ministry of training, equipping, and bringing people into the knowledge of who they are in Christ and the authority that has been given to them. I never knew that the past that Jesus saved me from still had some kind of hold on me until the Baptism of Fire exposed open doors to my soul. What are those open doors called? Soul ties. Although my spirit was transformed, my soul still needed healing. It needed healing from my "hidden" past to my present.

The reason I felt like I was walking in circles was because my soul was tied to past trauma and I was stuck in the wilderness like the Israelites, just wandering back to familiar places of pain and anxiety until I met Pastor Donna, she taught me the prayers I needed for my SOUL to be delivered. The wounds did close but they weren’t healed properly. I believe that everyone needs this kind of deliverance.

Again, there are things hidden within our souls that need to be brought out and dealt with so that we can reach our full potential that we have in Christ. God unwounded my soul and exposed the soul ties and wounds through Holy Ghost Fire and used Pastor Donna to equip me to learn how to break FREE from it once and for all.
